Welcome to glory
My name is Richard Nix, and I have the privilege of serving as Principal of Glory Christian School, located near Yukon and Mustang, Oklahoma. We are now beginning our fifth year and currently offer a full curriculum for students in PK3 through 9th grade. Each year, we add a new grade level with the goal of becoming a full PK–12 school. For the 2026–27 school year, we are excited to introduce 10th grade.
At Glory Christian School, our mission is simple but powerful: to provide an academic and spiritual foundation in Christ that prepares students to lead, serve, and thrive in today’s world. Our school board is made up of dedicated Christians with a deep passion for both education and discipleship. We are honored to be members of the Association of Classical Christian Schools and accredited by Cognia in the State of Oklahoma.
Our vision for education comes from more than 60 years of combined experience in teaching and school leadership. The policies, strategies, and framework we use have proven effective in both public and private schools, but what sets us apart is our unwavering emphasis on Christian values. At every decision point, we ask: “What is best for kids?”
In today’s world, where cultural values are constantly shifting, we believe it is essential to offer families a Christ-centered alternative to public education. Our teachers partner with parents to nurture children in “the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:6), equipping them not only with academic knowledge but also with the physical, emotional, and spiritual tools they need to succeed in life.
As we expand into the high school years, we are adding qualified staff and a challenging curriculum designed to bring out the very best in every student. At Glory Christian School, we believe in preparing students to become responsible, productive citizens who contribute to their communities and glorify God in all they do.

Our vision for GCS is to build relationships with families so that we can grow together to glorify God and impact our community for Christ. Our faculty in combination with a curriculum that is Bible-based, Christ-centered and Spirit-filled will provide our children with a sound and engaging Christian education.
